Lumpy, skinful, too dry, too wet, under-seasoned, more cream/milk than butter… so many ways to make bad mashed potatoes. They are everywhere.
My stepmom makes super underseasoned mashed potatoes and also underseasoned everything. Thank God my sister is in charge of them this Thanksgiving. It's so bizarre to me cause I'm not a great cook but I can taste that I'm not great. People like my stepmom idk must just like bland things? Because she doesn't seem to notice or care.
