It took a very long time. Had a couple dashers unassign themselves. But it was totally worth it

 

Local pizza place near me makes good pizza but for the life of me I have no idea how they take so long. Feels like I can go to the store, buy the ingredients, make my own pizza, and they still won't be done making my pizza. And usually I just order a slice of basic cheese pizza

 

that's why pizza places are supposed to have in house delivery not doordash

The local place we like is popular enough that we know to order 90 minutes in advance at this point. That being said, we're mostly making our own pizzas at this point - we found out what kind of crust they use and where to find it, so like once a week, I'll whip up a chicken bacon alfredo pizza or something for my wife and I to split. Cheaper and you're in control of dispersing the toppings!
