Giant Eagle had $2.99 Ben and Jerry's this week

 

They do occasionally have solid deals. I bought 3 boxes of Special K cereal for $5 today.

but overall fuck them

 

Yeah overall their prices are insane. I do love market district and how big the selection is and their hot food section is good but I just can’t justify shopping there when I have Aldi and shop n save right near me for cheaper.

 

i also hate how giant eagle requires you to get a savings card in order to use the self checkout. why would i want to make my life more complicated by having a card for every place i shop. i dont think so

i only go there to buy their tp and grab a 6 pack just so i can check out at the beer counter

 

Why do you prefer their TP?? and I just have a savings card for giant eagle and shop n save cause of savings on gas.

I spend like $100 a week on groceries for two people but then like an additional sum on eating out on the weekend. I spend way too much on food. I don't even really go into the inner aisles

I did just recently get medjool dates to add to smoothies cause a cookbook I got recommended it and I saw it in some online recipes as well and omg those things are so sweet wtf. The recipes said they throw in a few dates and no way. I used two and should've used like half of one.

Ah I'll have to try that, I'm a sucker for a good cookies n cream. I swear by Hood for theirs - it's super soft and fluffy no matter how cold your freezer is

 

went grocery shopping today

mostly bought healthy stuff like tuna, spinach, blueberries, etc.

but the people wanna hear about the sugar. which reminds me I also got a pint of Blue Bell cereal ice cream—I think it’s called. has Fruity Pebbles in it from what I can tell. I’ll let y’all know how that one is tomorrow

I still haven't tried a flaming hot Cheeto. I love the the flavor of spicy things but am a wimp when it comes to heat. How does it compare to something like a bag of Hot Fries or Wendy's Spicy nuggets in terms of heat?
