I’ve never had bad brisket so I can’t relate

 

Haha never in the South, but I have had it from a couple places in NH that were started up by people originally from the South

 

Bear in mind that I've only ever tried it like 3 times?

first couple times I had cheesecake it was whatever but I kept going and now it’s my favorite dessert

just anecdotal evidence and do you but I’d implore you to give it more tries

 

When I was younger my Dad had a cheese cake for his birthday on Sunday. I was the only one who had a slice, it was delicious I love cheese cake. It was left in its box on the table where I found It the next day when I came home from work. Smelt fine so I had some more. The next day I found it again, still on the table, still delicious. On Wednesday I came home and thought I better finish this cheese cake before it goes bad and I did. That night I went to liverpool to watch the influential 90s metalcore band Shai Hulud, it was about an hours' drive away. When I returned it was late, I showered and got ready for bed. I went downstair for snack and on the way stopped by the bathroom which is where I stayed for 3 days. I didnt think diarrhea could be that bad but it was.

I just don't get why cheese cake even exists when regular cake already exists. Seems like a downgrade.

 

Would take cheesecake over regular cake 100% of the time

 

I love cheesecake, and honestly don't really care for most regular cake unless it's ice cream cake.

the only regular cake I do really enjoy is carrot cake, especially with tons of cream cheese frosting.

 

Also cheesecake isn't even cake, it's a tart. So you can't really compare it to normal ass cake anyway.

People remember that story and still bring cheese cakes to events im at as a joke. The punchline is they brought me my favourite dessert

 

gotta get back on the horse

if I let explosive diarrhea stop me from eating certain foods then I surmise I might not eat all that much

 

I never stopped riding I eat the cheese cake everytime.

 

They also brought me a food safety chart so now I know at what time and temperatures different foods become unsafe

 

There's a local BBQ place near us that has burnt end brisket with caramelized onions and I literally don't know if I've eaten something better
