chipotle gets an edge over moes and qdoba for me just because of the sofritas. for the sickness thing i just see it as either its gonna be really good or its gonna be really good and i get to call out of work
The fact that I'm not sick of Chipotle is amazing considering I eat it at least once a week only because it's convenient and macro friendly. Loved Qdoba the first couple of times I had it but every other time it's been disappointing. It's too bad because I like their variety (and that they have tortilla strips). I'd put Panchero's ahead of them for the queso & their burritos but Chipotle has better proteins.
i enjoy both Moe's and Chipotle very much, but for whatever reason I view Moe's as more 'fast food-y' than Chipotle. I have no basis for this, as they're very similar, but I always help Chipotle a slight tier above.
Sofritas are the best because they come out of a bag and are always consistent. Most chipotle works don’t know how to cook/shred the carnitas and barbacoa correctly. They also have to cook way too much chicken to keep up so it never has a nice char on it. And the steak quality is ass. Truly don’t understand why people order it.
my biggest issue is getting such a poorly wrapped burrito. 7 or 8 times out of 10 it ends up in a bowl after 3 or 4 bites.
Sofritas are the top tier chipotle protein but my issue is that basically every employee refuses to strain them whatsoever so it’s either sofritas soup or feeling like an asshole bothering some probably underpaid food service worker to do more shit they observably don’t want to do
Its the liquid content for me. Shake those jucies off the pico and beans so it doesnt sog up in minutes! Or if the sour cream is poorly placed, it just soaks and breaks the wrap. Honestly, the only reason i wrap well at home is because i dont care that my grubby, chubby fingers touches every bite of food. Gotta shove the filling in as you go.
