Aaactually it's a quick bread. Cake has more sugar and fat. Fun fact, I've been trying to win a ribbon for quick breads in the county fair for the last 3 years. Have failed so far. Trying to decide what I want to make for this year.
Big fan of zucchini bread with chocolate chips I’ve never had a zucchini but I can’t imagine it tastes like the bread
Zucchini is my favorite vegetable. Fried zucchini obiously rips but I grill it a lot during the summer, makes for a great side with a steak or some chicken
Tastes nothing like a cucumber and closer to a very mild onion. Texture is also similar when cooked properly
I’ve probably shared it before but I once was trying to make a recipe using “zoodles” and was in the process of sautéing them when my wife was like hey dude these are cucumbers
It's probably because I feel like the closest thing I can compare fried zucchini to is onion rings, texturally
Squash is its own thing but as a very picky eater, it has a very mild and enjoyable flavor when cooked imo
Yeah, likewise. It's kind of a rare bar treat or something. I'm definitely grilling it more often than not. Little olive oil, little salt and pepper, little garlic powder. Good stuff. Never had it steamed. Interested in the sauteing it, though.
Have you guys ever tried putting the zucchini in the trash instead of eating it? It's my favorite way to enjoy them.
