Maybe it's heresy as a Floridian i dunno, but Key Lime Pie is bullshit. It's way too sweet. I don't know any Floridians that actually like it either, it's like a tourist/snowbird thing.
i’d argue it’s more a tart than anything but it’s certainly more pie than cake. the fact that anyone actually considers it a cake just goes to show how dumb people really are.
