My favorite soda fact to share with people is that Fanta was created by Nazis as a Coca Cola alternative after the US trade embargo on Germany was enacted in '41. During the war most former Coke plants in Nazi occupied Europe were take over for Fanta production.

I think I've only had orange and grape Fanta.

Orange is just way worse than Crush or Sunkist.

Thanks to this discussion I just ordered a Sunkist with my pizza delivery. Oh boy!

 

I used to drink so much Sunkist as a kid I would get headaches at times

my first true addiction

 

Yeah we had a mini fridge in our porch stocked full of Sunkist at all times when I was in high school.

Then my mom heard I liked Vault so she stocked it with cans full of Vault Zero. Absolutely disgusting

 

but yeah fuck Fanta

 

Was just in Germany and pretty much all they drink there is Fanta and Coke Zero. I'm not a soda drinker, but had to have Fanta at a few places and theirs is pretty good, not insanely sweet and not the insane orange color it is here, more of a lighter shade.

 

I would like to visit Germany one day, my fiance is German in heritage and is obsessed with the language

 

I rarely if ever purchase a full-flavor fruit soda, but I like Crush. Diet Crush and Diet Sunkist are solid.
