This stems from the Brits and Aussies calling chicken sandwiches with a bun "chicken burgers" discourse on Twitter currently

In America a "Chicken Burger" would have to be like ground chicken meat grilled as a patty. Simply putting a breaded chicken breast inbetweenth two buns a burger doth not make.

Like this is actually a chicken burger (per American definition of burger)

This is fascinating to me because it tells me Europeans and Aussies are fundamentally misunderstanding what a burger even is. They view buns as being core component of what a burger is, they are not. Ground meat patty is what makes a burger a burger, the bun isn't that important.

Yes but there's no consistency between British and American English for the pronunciation of French loan words

    Homage
    Niche
    Lingerie
    Fillet
    Vase
    Herb
    En route
    Garage
    Clique

All pronounced differently but it's just random which version of English stuck to the French

My favorite difference in American/British English is that the Brits call Crossing Guards "Lollipop Ladies"

Light beer here means low alcohol

After downing 6 bud lights Brendan and Tim started demanding "full strength beer". The bar tender was confused and they were drunker than they though, they could not understand why he was asking them if they wanted more carbs.

Light beer does have less carbs/calories here and is typically lower alcohol, around 4.2% or less.
