It is better than Jimmy John's but I prefer Firehouse to both. Pub Subs still clears everyone by a mile though
I haven’t had firehouse since I worked next to one like 6+ years ago but I liked the one bbq brisket or something sandwich they had.
tried jersey mikes for the first time a few weeks ago. their bread is good but they skimped me on ingredients. primos > all
Primos is a burger place in my hometown, one of those places that only exist in California where they all sell the same burger and fries but also sell either Mexican food or Greek food. Tom's, Tam's, Louis, Primos, Doublz, Pete's. These places also always have the best ranch.
Compared to what? A regular is only $1.50 more than a footlong at Subway, and it's at least 10x better in taste and quality so I'd say that's pretty fair.
Maybe it varies from location to location but I thought JM's Cheesesteaks were a little on the small portion size. Especially for their price.
Ike's is pretty good, but they're always a big sloppy mess, and that guy is kind of a dweeb. That place is expensive though, like $17 per sandwich.
a regular is also half the size of a footlong from Subway, and Subway constantly mails out coupons. I paid $13 for 2 footlongs today
Jersey Mikes has great cold sandwiches but their cheesesteaks are an abomination. The bread needs work, but it's better than most. Solid cold cuts, cheese, and produce though, especially compared to somewhere like Subway.
My local hoagie shop is incredible for both hot and cold but they have shit hours so sometimes I gotta go with Mikes and 9/10 times its a pretty great substitute. Need more cheese options though.
jersey mikes is soooo much better to me, it's not even close. I also haven't been to a subway in 10+ years though haha
