Had Thai for the first time last night, shit rules. We got some bread that was like…meat? Pad See Ew that was very spicy. And a spicy duck salad, which was sour and kind of alright.
Love Thai food. Massaman curry with a kick of spice might be one of my favorite dishes in the world. Im a sucker for the coconut milk base in Thai curries.
Coffee could taste like wet dog doodoo and I'd still drink it if it wakes me up in the morning. It does it's job IDGAF about taste. Like are you coffee haters drinking Monsters at 6am or something?
I sometimes make coffee the night before, put it in the fridge, and just drink it Black and cold real fast first thing after I wake up.
Thai Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) This is a great recipe for drunken noodles which is my favorite thai dish (though it does have a few slightly obscure ingredients). Also, I miss the coffee coke mix. That was actually really good and I'd get it often.
I don't know what grocery stores you have, but Publix (biggest chain near me) has an international aisle and in the british section you can find sharwoods curry sauces and they're pretty good. You can actually get it on Amazon too. I don't like their thai curry, but the Indian ones are good (Jalfrezi and tikka masala). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B03W1SU/?tag=absolutepunk-20
I’ll look for it but all the store bought tikka masala I’ve had doesn’t even compare to the real stuff.
Agreed for sure but this is one of the better ones that works when I'm cutting back on going out to eat and crave Indian food quickly.
now it’s honestly cheaper for me to get take out Indian and have it for 2 meals then try and make it at home
