when I was a kid id toss an egg, sausage or bacon, some butter, maybe a little syrup if I was feeling frisky into a bowl of grits and it was slammin
Yea... I feel the Dasani tastes bad opinion has legs because it's basically a meme at this point, vs it actually tasting bad. I'll drink any bottled water without really noticing a 'taste' to any of them. They're all just water, they all hydrate, they're all acceptable to me. If I'm in a pinch and buying water at a gas station, it has more to do with 1) what size water I want, and 2) how much do I want to spend?
I buy Life Water at work because it's only 25 cents more and I can't remember if it's Aquafina or Dasani that has kind of a watery milk-ish taste to me
It's probably Dasani. I don't notice it, but it's always joked about online as tasting like nickels etc. It's a very popular opinion that it's trash water and bottom of the barrel. Most of the time I'm so thirsty when I'm drinking bottle water, that the only thing I notice is hydration. I've not had the life water but I'll buy the big bottles of smart water.
They talked about this on Doughboys yesterday, but I've been curious, do y'all have fruit guys and/or corn (elote) guys or is that just a California thing?
Like a guy on the corner that has a cart and slices up fresh fruit into a cup, usually comes with like chamoy and tajin.
It rules. Also, every community should have an elote man. They walk around with their cart honking a horn and you can get corn on a stick with the mayo, butter, chili, lime, and cotija. They also usually have raspados which is like mexican shaved ice and duros are like wheat puffs that they put lime juice and hot sauce on. Damn I gotta go find one right now.
I’m kinda whatever on Dr. Pepper but I’m still really curious about the Blue Bell Dr. Pepper ice cream
