I'm so mad that Melt is introducing a pierogi sandwich because I'm been working on cracking a pierogi grilled cheese for months
I used to think there was no such thing as too many pierogies but I somehow found that threshold and now just thinking about them makes me feel a lil queasy
I like the mini ones because you can eat like 10 of them and pop them in your mouth and just get a burst of potato, they're great
Feel like gross-out food posts (real or fake) are the lowest hanging fruit for engagement online Not @JoshIsMediocre for sharing in here but for like people posting that shit on Twitter or whatever
I'm probably just sensitive to food shit like but people love posting like the ranch oreo edits or whatever and I just think that shit sucks lol
Agreed.. Same as 'rage bait' cooking where you make enough obvious mistakes that people are flocking to join in the conversation to point it out. Always the same 3 minute shit. 'Brown the chicken' then proceeds to flip when saturated in oil and white as hell still. Or just throwing random shit into a crock pot, or using an obnoxious amount of seasoning. Or my favorite of all - specifically showing 'washing' or NOT 'washing the chicken' so people can whine one way or the other. But honestly - who the fuck washes chicken?
Just like those photoshopped pics of food packages where people create foul flavors. I have to imagine the goal is to upset me and if that's the case, they are unfortunately succeeding lol
Others have said this but ya... Rice is an extremely common food poisoning source and I'm always careful to store and reheat it properly. Uncooked rice can contain spores of Bacillus cereus, bacteria that can cause food poisoning. The spores can survive when rice is cooked. If rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores can grow into bacteria. These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons). The longer cooked rice is left at room temperature, the more likely it is that the bacteria or toxins could make the rice unsafe to eat.
I hate when I bite into a Crunchwrap supreme only to find out it’s filled with a DVD boxset of M*A*S*H That’s wild. I eat rice like 4 times a week and never knew this. I was worried about the pork. I did end up throwing it away, painfully.
