Yeah, a bank account problem because I’d be spending all of money on late night subs. There’s only two places I can walk to for food and they both close at 5. It’s frustrating but it’s for the best, I would absolutely wander around getting food after a night of drinking.
Inspired by the Food 2 thread... there is 100% a thing as too much garlic and garlic knots often venture into that category. Also, even when cooking and making things like tzatziki sauce and pesto, there's definitely a point when the garlic is too sharp and too pungent and overpowering. 2-3 cloves added to something like a dip is more than enough. I know people that put like 6-8. Obviously volume of dip matters, but man, the garlic love on the internet and the demand for more more more is often too much. Calm down people. Roasted garlic is much better for that reason as it mellows the flavor. Yes it changes it, but it still tastes like garlic, just more mellow.
Raw garlic is very pungent and needs to be toned down. If it's cooked I can see the thought of adding more as it's much more subtle
I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I have yet to encounter something with too much garlic, personally
Raw Garlic is so powerful that it is being studied for it's antibiotic properties. It has actually been used to treat infections resistant to traditional antibiotics. It is so caustic when concentrated that it kills fucking bacteria.
I’m not gona just eat raw garlic like some anti Dracula but I’ve never had garlic bread/knots that are even close to being too garlicky. Fucking pump that shit up. I want it to hurt my eyes
if you buy snake repellent spray for your yard it is mostly garlic oil so your whole yard can smell like burnt garlic for a couple days
