Breakfast Sausage links are always better than pattys. I cut them in half lengthwise so I can still put them on a sandwhich
Also toast is good and essential to a big breakfast. You can make a little sandwich and/or have it as a little dessert with jam. Sourdough toast with breakfast is the best.
It's not that I'm an anti-toastite, but of all the things for me to exclude from breakfast--toast is the first one going, especially if there are potatoes.
I think nearly all bread is fucking great and the type of bread depends on the kind of sandwhich. I'm not making a PB&J with Rye or Pumpernickel, but it's a great bread for a ham sandwhich or Rueben.
Seeds are good. more bread should have seeds. the Sunflower Crunch bread at Subway was S-Tier but they took it away
Bread is just a vessel for the actual important parts of a sandwich. I actually don't mind sourdough I guess, though it's not my favorite. Rye bread just ain't for me. Nor is Matzoh, Challah, Kugels, potato latkes... JK. I just think Rye is too intense and overpowering in nearly all circumstances. And I love fennel so it's an odd one for me.
Bread is a very important part of a sandwhich. It’s not just a envelope for meat and veggies and cheese if you’re basic
