This is my typical breakfast:

Last night I ordered a "fully loaded breakfast" from my local diner for $15 which was 2 large pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, 3 bacon strips, 1 small piece of country ham, enough homefries to fill 2 sidedish parts of a Styrofoam container, and 2 slices of toast.

It was literally like 3 plates of food lol

 

I refuse to note the beans

 

wish I loved anything as much as Josh hates beans

love a good Irish full breakfast (minus the beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes of course)

 

I almost never need a plate with more than 1 type of breakfast meat on it, personally. I'd rather have a plate of eggs benny with potatoes, huevos rancheros, etc. than a full breakfast with pancakes & eggs & sausage & bacon & ham & toast. Toast is kinda boring. I never want it. English muffins are another matter though.

 

I have never had eggs Benedict before. I don't think I have ever had poached eggs at all before honestly.

To play devil's advocate here. That is a full English breakfast and I think stewed tomatoes are just a thing they do over there.

 

It sucks that "breakfast for dinner" is like a cool fun meal, and " breakfast for lunch" is hip and trendy, but "dinner for breakfast" is still seen as a sad thing for sad guys.

Stop the stigma. Make Dreakfast A thing and let me eat Chinese food at 10am without shame dammit.

There is also that rare " lunch for dinner" where you're still full from a big lunch so you just have a cold cut sandwich at 7pm.
