I am partial to Grouper. I am biased though because my area is a commercial Grouper fishing hub. We get all the freshest Grouper.

I have often fantasized about dropping everything and joining the crew of Grouper boat, then I remember that commercial fishing has the 2nd highest occupational death rate in the US, and I'm like ok fuck that.

 

I had a blackened grouper sandwich at some port side bar in Siesta Key and it still remains as one of the best things I've ever had.

 

grouper is easily the best fish

 

Grouper might be in my top 5. Hard to say.
