I generally agree too,.but maybe not as strict. I think cheese in BBQ nachos or BBQ Poutine or something like that is fine. Cheese on a BBQ chicken sandwich though? Personally I wouldn't
My local BBQ spot has an awesome BBQ take off of Poutine with sweet potato waffle fries. I used to order it all the time.
That stuff is fine but If I see someone put a slice of cheese on their brisket sandwich. Oh lord, watch out.
I think it's fine on a pulled pork or chicken sandwich, especially at a fast food joint. But yeah, on good BBQ, it's a little weird, ungapatchka, as some are wont to say.
Gonna both sides this one and say I could go either way. Not typical, but I wouldn't be mad at it, either.
Unless it’s a grilled cheese, sandwhiches should never have cheese. cheese does not need to ever touch meat
One other exception I'd say is another BBQ spot near me has a sandwich they call "Adult Grilled Cheese" which is pulled pork or brisket with Jack on grilled Texas Toast. It slaps.
got some Reese’s cups and Kit Kata to celebrate tomorrow with got into a couple a few minutes ago. the best
