Reactions like this is why this is always one of the funnest threads. I like cherry pie somewhat, but I don't like apple pie. One of the main reasons I think is that I don't really like 'fall' spices when they're the predominant flavor (cinnamon / allspice etc).

Never put it on apple pie, but a slice of granny smith with a really sharp cheddar is amazing - when you stack the cheese piece and the apple slice and bite into both at once - amazing. Same as grapes and cheese.

 

Cheese rules. Big cheese fan over here.

I can get on board with apples and cheese. Baked apples with Brie are delicious.

 

apple pie is the best, especially with granny smith apples. need that tartness to balance out all the sweetness

It usually looks better than it tastes. Not bad, just kind of mid in most cases.

 

Look, I said what I said. Was I swayed by the fact that I was eating tiramisu in that exact moment, possibly.

 

They should sell bags of half popped popcorn and some of those kernels should be kind of burnt. The kind that pop and overwhelm you some weird but good flavor
