Fun fact Matt sent me a site that was one of those things that tells you where you're supposed to live based on the criteria you enter and mine said Pittsburgh or DFW
The crispiness of a perfectly fried wing is def different than that of a perfect chicken finger. Prob best argument I’ve ever seen for wings over fingers even if I’m taking peak tendie over peak wing
Also maybe this is the New England in me talking but I think great chicken fingers are easier to find than great wings here
I agree. Thirsty Moose has great chicken strips and sauces if you've ever tried them, I know they're slowly popping up around NH
I'd also never eat wings/tenders in NE because I'd be too busy eating every bit of shellfish I can get my hands on as I normally do when I visit
My wife is from the other side of the bridge in Portsmouth and loves seafood, I'm sad that you don't but also accept it so I can eat more of it
Portland, ME has a Thai (I think?) fried chicken place and it is the best wings I've ever had. The first time I had them was like 4 hours after they were made because a friend of mine grabbed me some and they were still so crispy and delicious. Went there 2 weeks ago on a day where I was the most hungover I've been in years and almost ate the bones it was so good
I live in Maine and cant stand lobster. I like most seafood except for raw bar stuff but don't eat it too often. I'm waiting for the summer crowd to die down a bit but I've been meaning to hit up Bob's Clam Shack in Kittery for a while. Speaking of chicken though, I miss Jay's chicken shack which used to be right next to Bissell Brothers on Thompson's Point a few years back. Was a perfect combo with their beer.
