Continuing from the Doughboys thread...

Now I need to know what everyone calls the thing where you put chili, cheese, and other toppings in a small bag of Fritos, often served at snack bars and sporting events.

 

Walking taco

 

I guess chili and cheese passes as a taco in some parts of this country.

Well sometimes it would be chili and sometimes it would just be taco meat but it was always called a walking taco.

 

I always forget literally everyone on this site is from Pittsburgh.

 

I will never step foot in Pittsburgh

Yeah but what does pepper belly even mean??

 

What does hot dog mean, what does hamburger mean? What's in a name? That which we call a pepperbelly by any other name would taste just as salty.

Pepper Belly sounds way more like a slur than Walking Taco

 

but it’s chili and cheese! It makes no sense!
