Not my picture, but my girlfriend made those smash burger tacos going around on Instagram / Tik Tok yesterday and they were super bomb.

 

I made Hawaiian nachos yesterday

pop tarts are trash

toaster strudels are so much better

They're different foods! It's not like 2 brands of the same food item, totally different texturally

I do prefer Toaster Strudels but I just see them as different haha

 

As an aside I'ma watch Brian Regan bits all day today now

 

it was the 90’s marketing. The whole toaster strudel campaign was to make them look better than pop tarts, so the comparisons became inevitable

 

I suppose I somehow never saw any of the marketing, my parents just had toaster strudels around so I ate them

 

pop tarts do have one key advantage tho

you can eat them warmed up or as is

 

Or frozen

 

That's a big reason why I see them as different as well

In my office I'll eat Pop Tarts but at the kitchen table it's always Toaster Strudels, and the reasons for both are exactly that, I'm not gonna heat up something in my office during work

 

I know pop-tarts can be toasted, but if they were meant to be toasted, they wouldn't sell them for breakfast out of high school vending machines

 

God I love how you can see the thumbnail for any 90s commercial and immediately know it's a 90s commercial
