a good watermelon or cantaloupe is unreal. A bad one is almost inedible. Watermelon/feta/mint salad is a summertime must and so good and refreshing. Cantaloupe with prosciutto and honey is :chef's kiss:
I'm going to get killed in here for this but my least favorite fruit in Pineapple. Could never stand it just on it's own, it's like too tangy and sweet in a way that's overwhelming to my pallet. strangely though i do not mind it on Pizza, the sauce tempers the taste in a way that makes it tolerable to me.
Pear is also a pretty bad fruit. Like I can't imagine anybody ever saying their favorite fruit is Pear.
I don't know how hot of a take that is, but I certainly disagree with it though I love dark chocolate and mint
Cheesecake factory is all right and obviously if I go there I know that I'm not going to be eating super healthy but their ability to have such high calorie food is an actual art form. It's like double most restaurants lmao. Their brown bread is goat
No restaurants i've ever seen has been able to make Meatloaf very well. It's only good when made in a way goes again the training of most professional cooks. Needs to be medium dry, blackened and crunchy on top, tons of white onions inside, smothered in ketchup. All restaurant meatloafs i've ever had are way too most, don't have onions in it, and have 0 ketchup. Maybe my mom just made meatloaf the wrong way when i was growing up and that's what i'm used to i dunno, but homemade vs professional meatloaf for me is like night and day.
Have you had legit Cuban food before though? Like from Tampa, Miami, or Cuba itself? I can see not liking it if you're not really really into pork I guess. Even cuban bread is made with pork lard (and it's fucking amazing btw)
