I tried a diet once where it said for breakfast all you should eat is a banana and a couple tablespoons of Peanut Butter.
Then I just switched to intermittent fasting and could eat whatever I wanted for breakfast 4-5 days of the week and lost 40 pounds easily in a few months lol
Yeah I kept it off for awhile, but then got an office job where people just gave me free food all day and would get afterwork drink and apps at Applebee's with coworkers and I gained most of it back. Like once my lifestyle changed I couldn't keep up with keeping track of how long I didn't eat for I went from 245 and with IF ( 24 hour dinner to dinner fasts 2 sometimes 3 days of the week) got down to 200 in 3 months, then gradually over the course of 3 years I am back up to around 230.
When breakfast they had during the great depression is better than what most of us eat for breakfast on average now
I don't eat breakfast, and typically don't eat before 1pm. I used to love bananas, now I eat two every night to stay alive and I hate them
I am convinced the only households that have a savory homemade eggs/bacon/sausage breakfast nearly every morning have to either have a stay at home parent or a retired person living with them. Who the hell wants to cook and do dishes before they leave for work or school? Honestly growing up I had bacon, eggs, and pancakes Brinner wayyy more often than for actual breakfast.
I started doing it because they prevent hangovers, but now I feel like shit if I don't eat them even when I don't drink. So I just force myself to eat them every night
I went to McDonald’s a few years ago because I was craving a chocolate and vanilla mixed milkshake, which I used to get as a kid, and they told me they don’t mix flavors. Some bullshit. Haven’t had a milkshake in over a decade but yeah get that whipped cream outta there
