There is an opportunity for some unforgivable jokes here, but I for one am too mature to be the one to plunge in here
Nobody said they were bad. I love a cream pie. Bought a box when I was having a bad day earlier this week and now I’m mad about shrinkflation
I love mayo, but a peanut butter and mayo sandwich was always a bridge too far. People really used to eat that?
I dislike PB&J so I won't be trying it.. Speaking of which, I have an irrational annoyance of people who just eat peanut butter by the spoonful. My wife and manager both do it when they're hungry and I don't know why, but it's annoying. Eat a real snack or lunch like a normal person. I can't comprehend feeling hungry and needing something to tide me over and a being like 'oh! a big spoonful of peanut butter will be satisfying'. Eat an actual packet of peanuts, or a PB&J sandwich but just a scoop of peanut butter is like... why?
First of all PB&J is one of the most perfect foods. Second, I tried the Kofta recipe with the ground turkey and it was fantastic. My girlfriend loved it.
Nice, glad you enjoyed it. Tineats has never let me down, and the flat bread recipe linked in the kofta recipe was also really good and came out next to perfect followed as is. (The other recipes I super vouch for from that site are the Chicken Pho and the pad kee mao). And I don't hate PB&J, I just don't really like it. I'm also one of those people who can never just eat for fuel (and it's partly why I'm always broke). Every lunch and dinner has to be a big production of exactly what I'm craving vs eating what's on hand. Probably why I never just got into grabbing a PB&J for something quick (and also growing up in England... though it's probably more popular there now but it wasn't a thing when growing up).
Peanut butter is good and a spoonful of it will tide you over if you need some protein Sometimes I dip pretzels in it
my friend made something similar for me when we were on acid once. i wonder what this guys inspiration was
