I always have a can of tomatoes and a block of parm cheese on hand to make a version of this whenever I can't think of what else to make
One of the best meals I ever had was lasagna at this little tiny local restaurant. Too bad they closed during Covid and reopened as a shitty bbq spot.
I agree with this sentiment... (sort of) I don't get when people go out for a nice dinner, and spend a lot of money and it's Italian... It just doesn't do it for me. The delta between serviceable Italian, and great is just too small of a return. I love fine dining, but if the best restaurant in a city is a 5 star $$$ Italian place, I'd probably go for something else. Like, I don't think I'd ever go to a Michelin star Italian restaurant (outside of Italy). However, Italian food is great so disagree on calling it mid. I just don't think FINE DINING Italian food is on the same level as fine dining everything else and if I'm going to splurge it's going to be for a steak house, or French or something exciting and I don't get spending a lot of money on something that's good but plain. I guess? I'm just rambling at this point...
I still have pasta a decent amount cuz it's easy, will be watching the videos @Daniel posted I think when I try good pasta I'll be happy with it, my experience is just very limited
We went from fuck spaghetti to fuck all pasta and it’s not even noon here. Proud of y’all hope those takes are hot enough Aaron
I'd rather eat pasta then most other types of foods almost every day. If you extend pasta to other cultures' noodles dishes too then even more so
