I have never heard of dipping anything into mashed potatoes' and I have never heard of eating guac by the spoonful. I went to a wedding that had a mashed potato bar with martini glasses as the vessel. It was all sorts of corny, and borderline 'we want plates!' material, but it was also stupid good so overall I enjoyed it. I ate that with a fork though, and if they had served it with chips, it may have tipped over into this is stupid.
People who are anti-soup are weird as hell. I just made some albondigas and it was bomb. I miss Souplantation. It was my favorite place to go to stoned to the bone.
Soulmates. There was a place called Zoup in my college town that was one of my favorite places to walk to when zonked
I seriously think about Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantation regularly and how much I miss it. One of the only restaurants I truly miss
I just remember being a kid at Sweet Tomatoes I could care less about the soup and salad, it was just about the pizza bread for me.
I don't understand why buffets didn't take advantage of meal delivery services during the pandemic to make a killing. Golden Corral should do like a "pick 6 of anything" for deal Uber eats for $20 bucks.
I don’t know, one time I went to a Japanese buffet in Seattle and it was like Disneyland in there. The only one better than the casino one I used to go to in college *Oops Quoted the wrong post at first*
A good buffet is like a mirage. They’re basically never good, unless you find a unicorn at a really fancy hotel or something.
