All this tomato talk has me craving some caprese though, gonna hit the store for a baguette and some fresh mozzarella. Will be keeping an eye out for that mint sauce from the fucked up food thread, for those of us deranged enough to hang out in there
How can tomato sauce be better than ketchup when ketchup tastes less like tomatoes? As a fellow tomato hater this confounds me
it’s not a taste thing for me it’s a texture thing. Plus I can almost always use a better condiment on something besides ketchup but if I want a pizza I need tomato sauce.
Only thing I do not care for tomatoes in is burgers/sandwiches because I feel like it makes the bread wet and soggy.
