I just hate all the seeds and goopy shit and it’s a pain to remove all that so I just skip em all together.
I prefer my tomatoes cooked in some fashion. Big exception for in-season heirloom tomatoes with some good mozzarella and olive oil.
So weird that both of you wouldn't just put both salt and pepper, but I guess that's par for this thread.
This isn’t really an opinion, but my heavy handedness with black pepper has always been a little controversial to people that have watched me use it. Love throwing a ton of it on various things. The one that for some reason still throws people for a loop the most is when I put it on ketchup
Ever since I learned this, it's been a game changer. Slice up some tomatoes, salt them and let them sit a minute and they're infinitely better. I salt and let the tomatoes sit for everything now (sandwiches, salads etc) and of course I can't help but snack on the 'extra' slices as I make the meal.
I've never felt so understood. Same reason I hate raspberries and blackberries. Too many damn seeds that get stuck in my teeth
