One of the main meals from my dad's side of the family was beans on top of cornbread, not chili, but like slow cooked beans with ham hock. Then everyone would dress them up to their liking with salsa or ketchup or whatever. I had cereal for dinner when they made that because I hated cornbread as a kid.

I would just like to take this moment to say Skyline and that whole style of chili sucks and only an abomination like that could come out of Ohio.
