reese's pieces are better than regular m&m's but peanut m&m's are the best candy ever.

 

They took them off the menu years ago, but I should try, you’re right.

Dairy Queen isn't exactly known for their service at least by me

 

midwest DQs operate on a different level

 

I miss Dairy Queen shakes every now and then, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just bc of my rose-tinted memories

I attended summer school when I was 15 and on really hot days (there were many), I’d stop at the tiny DQ down the road to buy a shake for the rest of my walk home. I’d get vanilla most often, but occasionally I’d switch it up and get Strawberry or Banana instead

It felt so relaxing to sip a cold treat while I walked in the heat and humidity, listened to whatever was in my Discman (at that time it was usually something by Smashing Pumpkins or The Offspring), and just think about whatever for a little over half an hour

 

I don’t really think of chocolate things as summertime food.
