Yeah that run from The Great Golden Baby to We’re All Thieves was really underrated for me before this bracket. I think 14-15 year old me didn’t fully appreciate those enough when I first started listening to Juturna.
I think so too, i think 'Your Friends Are Gone' is their best song. I could see 'In the Morning...' making a run at the crown as well though.
AA is a scene classic and absolute jam, I get why it’s winning. But while I’d probably have said it was my favorite in 2005, it feels like one of the tracks least indicative of what’s actually made this album stick with me all these years
This. It feels like taking the pure early Circa magic and diluting it with pop-punk sensibilities for a hit. It's still great, but sticks out a lot on a full listen through. Neither of these finalists are in my top 6.
I got the same variant but it came super warped and when i reached out to them for a replacement they couldnt give me one bc it was sold out. so i have it but i've never even tried playing it lol
