I wanted In Fear And Faith but was outvoted

 

The album is great, they just picked the best song for the single. Some bands do.

 

I mean Juturna is probably a perfect album - and not all songs can be the best but I think we chose as close to all the wrong choices as we could every round lol

 

no song on this album rips like AA - it's a fitting victor, should it end that way.

 

I could understand being upset if Get Out wins the BSN bracket, but Act Appalled is legitimately great.

it’s all about that first chorus with Act Appalled, the “fool them in & to make them drink”

I mean Get Out is legitimately great too but we'll get to that lol

 

Get Out is an ALL TIME slapper.. come on

I Felt Free and Dyed in the Wool are two of the best all around songs they've ever made

I'm interested to see how the next couple albums go - not really sure what to expect!

Since we're talking about Blue Sky Noise, I have to say that Strange Terrain and Through The Desert Alone have always been favorites of mine. Get Out is a very solid song, but there are probably 5 or 6 songs that I think are more deserving of winning that album bracket.

This process has raised my opinion of Juturna. I've always seen it as a solid debut with a few standouts but a lot of stuff that wasn't all that memorable. But I was wrong. It's kind of a mind-blowingly good debut.

Through the Desert Alone has always been my jam, I stan for it so hard, glad to see I’m not the only one
