Wish I saw half of what most of this thread sees in the title track. As singer-songwriter ditties slightly dressed up for a full band go, they've had more compelling ones.

 

It's the crescendo before the outro for me. Overall I'd say ANIGW is quite definitively a better song, but that one section might be my favourite bit in their entire discography.

Btw as an aside I also support a trimming of the Catch All round. Even though they saw an official release, I think including a shit ton of super rough demos is a bit questionable.

I went through the list of demos and gave everything a quick listen. I'm fine not including the more "rough" sounding songs from the Juturna and On Letting Go deluxe editions. That would eliminate the following:

That would get our round down from 28 to 18. In that scenario, the first round would have 2 matchups. If we are going by what actually got officially released, I think we can also leave out Miracle Sun and Resentment (although there has been a little discussion on Resentment and I'm not sure that I want to be on @Anthony_Soprano's list).

But if the majority is on board with that we'd have a 16 song bracket which would last 4 days (16->8->4->2->1)

I guess this is what I'm proposing given the feedback.

Although FTR, most of those OLG demos sound like incredibly promising melodic ideas... they were on fire then.
