1) Premonition Of The Hex 2) Never Tell A Soul Yeah, I hope At Night wins. Premonition is great though, probably the most a Circa song has reminded me of a TSOAF song. Could've fit in on TOATS.
Tbf I do still really like Stay, it’s just the only one that sometimes kinda passes by before I realize it’s on. Lots of signature Circa going on but the least defined imo And yeah that pull off lead part I don’t love
I liked this album a lot on first listen but stay was the easy immediate standout for me Premonition Of The Hex Never Tell A Soul
that riff the song starts with is the type of thing they’ve been caught up doing on previous albums that I don’t enjoy much but here the rest of the song is really strong imo.
Rites Of Investiture Never Tell A Soul This is definitely the album I've spent the least time with so it's fun going through it again. I can definitely see why it's so well loved here, idk why it didn't stick with me when it came out.
i was so turned off by Descensus that i definitely did not give this one a fair shake when it first came out, probably well over a year before i gave it a good honest listen. it's not their best album but it's well above VW or Descensus.
Gotta say I was truly not prepared for the number of contentious takes this bands catalogue would produce.
Yeah! I'm not a big fan of VW. Descensus I like more than I used to but I still appreciate Amulet/Juturna/OLG/BSN MUCH more.
