Back to the Suitcase discussion, I used to not like the song much, but the guitar lead in the background of the chorus is so pleasant, and really elevates the song for me.

Pretty surprised by all the love for Blood From A Stone tbh. Not that its a bad song, just didn't realise its held in such high regard. That said, I seem to be out of step with most opinions in this bracket.

 

It’s funny because for me the last half of the album with the exception of IFaW was really same-y to me when the album came out. Though after months with it Blood was a clear standout banger. Anthony kills it on there.

 

Same. Blood From A Stone is easily my least favorite song off the back half of the album.

The prechorus is absolutely aimless.

This week was my first listen to this album in a long time, and off the back of the first three albums the songwriting on Waves is just nowhere near as tight.

 

Listening to Descensus and can't wait for that bracket to start. Love this album so much more than VW, maybe more than BSN.
