I'm a pretty big CIrca fan and I hardly check out VW or Descensus--they don't click for me for some reason but yes. I agree and think it'll be a nice giving them more listens

 

Yeah they're pretty easily my 2 least favorite Circa albums - I think i might have only listened to Descensus like....twice total lol - the Amulet took me a bit to come around on but it's a good one.

I have weird relationship with this band where I'd known them forever based on their hits growing up but really dove into their music when Descensus came out. It was the first full LP of theirs I listened to and I was immediately hooked so that record is pretty special for me. Even if it is one of their mid to lower tier records, its still pretty great.

i think realistically speaking this is one of those "none of their albums are actually bad" kind of bands - i just prefer some wayyyy less than others lol

 

ah don’t do this to me Nosebleed and House of Leaves are the very best tracks. along with Wish Resign.
