I like Ghosts of the Great Highway, but tend to find his albums kind of exhausting. Not in a bad way, really, but just in a way that I don't revisit them much and tend not to feel that much of an urge to dive into his back catalog. So I haven't heard the Red House Painters stuff yet.
This list is in no particular order outside of my #1 and will incessantly evolve and change as I discover more music, albums I previously only liked turn into loves, etc. Brand New - TDAGARIM Brand New - Deja Entendu Brand New - Daisy The 1975 - S/T The 1975 - ILWYS All Get Out - The Season Circa Survive - On Letting Go Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise Copeland - Ixora Foxing - The Albatross Foxing - Dealer The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound The Hotelier- Home, Like Noplace Is There Jack's Mannequin - Everything In Transit Jimmy Eat World - Futures Manchester Orchestra - Mean Everything To Nothing Mewithoutyou - Brother, Sister Moving Mountains - S/T The National - Trouble Will Find Me The National - High Violet Pianos Become The Teeth - The Lack Long After Pianos Become The Teeth - Keep You Say Anything - ...Is A Real Boy Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell Thrice - Vheissu I'm also sure that I'm forgetting some crucial ones.

I hate your one-album-per-artist rule because it excludes Born to Run, which just doesn't seem right knowing you! Great list otherwise, though. Lots of albums on here I love (and lots of albums we wrote about for Back Pages).
Looking through this thread and there seems to be a lot of love for The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. It totally deserves it.
The list would be half albums from about 3-4 artists otherwise! But yeah the eternal shuffle between Darkness, BTR, and The River goes on. Almost put The River just because my love for it is even greater at the moment since the show in February. We should revive MBP someday in an alternate universe where I have the time... If you bold the ones you haven't heard I could assist you in prioritizing! Especially based upon the stuff I know you dig.
Haha, I need to go and flesh out my top 50, but I don't think I could do the one-per-artist rule. It just wouldn't be an accurate reflection of my favorites. My favorite artists are my favorite artists because they've released a bunch of different albums I love, you know? And I would love to bring back MBP someday, even if it's just one piece every once in a blue moon.
I'd have to think long and hard about a top 10 list but my number one will never change. And that album is this bad boy.

I now have a ton of stuff to check out haha. A bunch of these I haven't heart. Oh, and a tiny nitpick. It's just Japandroids, not The Japandroids.
