Idk I am still giving this chances but only a few things have caught on and nothing is hitting like the highs of even Slime Language which is saying something. Could do without the Lil Peep line too whether it has ill intent or not
I've gone through this in full four times and then played a bunch of random tracks/had it on shuffle beyond that. It's really growing on me. Still don't think it necessarily "works" the way an album should (or at least my perception of how an album should) but pretty much every track is good-great to me at this point. I've been waiting for an Uzi x Thug collaboration that lives up to both of their potential and I feel like "What's the Move" is finally that. Sounds like what I would imagine a BTG-era collab between would be. Easily my favorite on the record. Peep line is fucked though. Too bad it's in what is otherwise one of the best songs on here.
“Ima take a bar, Lil Peep” on “Gucci Cartier Scarf”. It’s not clear whether he meant anything by it wrt Peep’s death, but given the circumstances, it’s not a good look.

It’s a great album and he deserves the success. It’s super replayable- I think I actually listened to it twice already today. Sup Mate also grew on me a lot. This is also coming from someone who wasn’t sure about this on my first listen.
Yep, I’ve actually been going back a ton. I still maintain that it’s one of his weakest “projects” but on a song to song basis, it’s quite consistent.
