Ah yess I hope that’s on there, I feel like it will be. Also this one There’s so many amazing snippets from this album cycle honestly
I would say yeah but he hasn’t come out and said as much. But they have been referring to this as an album.. but Thug always does that with every project lol. Who knows.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. How he called his last releases albums, but then referrers to HyTunes as his debut....whenever that comes out
Haven’t loved any of the stuff he’s done post-BTG, but there’s tons of great tracks and features scattered over the last two years. I am very excited for this though (especially being the first full length solo project since BTG). “The London” has grown on me. Went back to Barter 6 today and now listening to Jeffery in anticipation.
I hope this is on the weirder side like BTG and Jeffery but I have a feeling it will be more mainstream if stuff like The London is on it. That's fine too though
there's no reason why this shouldn't be his best album he's just been sitting on so many great songs all this time and I think it'll be plenty weird
I truly can't wait for this to come out. Feels like we've been waiting forever. Checked out a bunch of song snippets people have been sharing on his reddit page-- there's some really excellent stuff we haven't officially heard before. I have a really good feeling about this record.
I love just about everything Thug has put out, but I'm still waiting for another project of his to hit me like Jeffery did. Hope this is it.
Beautiful Thugger Girls is his best for me, very closely followed by Barter 6. Pretty sure this is gonna be his best project yet though.
I’ll be a little sad if it’s that long honestly. I know that’s hip hop in the streaming era, but his projects have always been so good because he could always turn in something concise with straight hits. The only post-Barter projects that run long are the first two Slime Seasons and that’s cause it was just collecting leaks.
Beautiful Thugger Girls is his last solo album, is 56 minutes and is arguably his best album. But idk to me, the more Thug the better since he drops solo projects so infrequently these days.
56 minutes, sure, but also 14 tracks. The difference isn’t so much in the run time as how many tracks are there. Has there been a cohesive 20 track hip-hop album in the streaming era? I love Thug, but that’s a real tracklist, I wouldn’t bank on this sounding like a focused vision, which is what bums me out. Also, 2 years since his last solo full length w/ 3 EPs and 2 collab records in between is hardly infrequent.
