I personally thought BTG was his best tape yet

 

Jeffery is his best imo

 

BTG, Jeffery, and Super Slimey were all great

 

I am also team BTG and Jeffery, but I’ve got a soft spot for Barter 6

 

I was talking about all the stuff after. the one tape was meh the future collaboration was meh

 

Barter 6 is my favorite. I love Super Slimey and Beautiful Thugger Girls, and I thought On The Run and Slime Language were both very good, although I probably wouldn’t consider those some of his best works. But On The Run was rushed together at the last minute because he was in legal trouble, and Slime Language was a label compilation.

 

That was technically his last tape tho that’s why I was confused. Slime Language was a collab I’m p sure, and On the Rvn was a ep

 

That’s still stuff he’s put out and been apart of, what’s confusing?

 

Barter 6 and BTG are my favs though I honestly enjoy all his releases, minus the collab tape which fell off for me. Young Martha and Hear No Evil EPs also deserve love

Idk man I guess I've been having difficulty adjusting to the idea that going a year or more without releasing a single or project is abnormal or worrisome

 

It’s his first time taking this long between releases so its certainly abnormal for him. Worrisome, not as much. I wasnt serious about him “falling off” i just miss his frequent output.

 

That's fair. I agree with Jake in that more artists could use to maybe pump the brakes a bit with a constant stream of music with diminishing returns. Not necessarily to say that's true of Thugger, but regardless

 

Thugger definitely looks better in comparison to Future now. I used to adore almost all of Futures output, but everything since HNDRXX hasn’t wowed me. There’s a lot of stuff I dig on Wizard, but still wayyyy too bloated. Thuggers output overall has been more trimmed, and consistent.

 

Super Slimey is super hit or miss but Killed Before is one of his best songs ever, and I fucking love Mink Flow too


BTG and Jeffery are probably my favorite full projects by him

Killed Before is so good.
