Gulf is a masterpiece. That is for certain—but people definitely shouldn’t ignore the brilliance of For Nana. I will dream you other forms live your love without reward hold you empty in my arms I won’t see you anymore
I've never truly fell in love with this band despite liking their last two albums and they have a sound I love. I'm hoping this does it for me.
Maybe it’s cause I’m me and everything reminds me of the hotelier, but the lyrics on this album give me lots of goodness vibes. Really, really beautiful stuff here
reminds me of Hotelier and some of the slower songs remind me of what Sorority Noise was doing on their last album - at least the slower moments
Their last one just clicked with me very recently, I’m really excited to dive into this one but I wanna make sure I do so when I can give it my full attention.
picked this up at the shop yesterday and read the lyrics along with it, so much going on here and I love it even more now
I made the "mistake" of watching this last night and now I am seriously questioning my decision to see Alex G that night.

i dont think i ever gave their first two albums enough attention. Been spinning them a ton and ya.... this band is flawless
I think they just cemented that status with the most recent one, s/t is sick but sounds like growing pains to me compared to the follow up grow/decompose has some of their all time best writing from a lyrical standpoint for me tho
