Most likely the bands last album, here's what the lead singer said:

New song is great, I'm glad someone posted about it!

I didn't know about any of that info in the Instagram post. Makes me even more excited to hear the new album and what they've been working on, even though it's sad it may be their last. Hard to believe it's been 4 years since Stay Away came out.

Yeah, I had no idea either, but the 4 years make sense now. I wonder if they are self releasing this one, or what the deal is. Hope it's out soon.

Think this will surprise a lot of people.

Luke Smartnick (former Major League, Have Mercy) did drums on the entire record.

Have you heard it? Any impressions?

Sad this is their last, but so far the 2 songs are aces.

Yep, I’m into it on first listen, it’s a cool progression from the last record

Is this not in Spotify yet, or am I blind?

This album has been stuck in my head since I heard it, especially "Tide", and "Fools", sad this is their last album, but they're going out with what will probably be their best for me.

Wow yeah tide is so good - not what I’d expect from these guys. Reminds me of the national. Way out of everything reminds me a lot of the last souvenirs album too. This is quite a bit more subdued than I expected. Works well for them tho

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Brian is a big fan of the national, so it's probably a bit intentional.

I really enjoyed their last album but TBH this one didn’t really do much for me.

Yeah I still prefer Stay Away over this album. That being said, this album is growing on me after multiple listens. It's definitely more subdued as someone else mentioned but it works.

Bumping this thread to promote Chrome Rodeo. Features 2 of the guys from Y&H.
