You Me at Six are an English pop punk/pop rock band with a total of 4 studio albums. Apparently they're going to be releasing a new album sometime this year so I thought I'd make a thread. I was a huge fan when I was a teenager.
Relistened to Take Off Your Colours for the first time in years and it's remarkable how well it's aged. I don't know if it's just the nostalgia getting to me lol but this album holds up really well.
I loved this band when I was in my teens! Take Off Your Colours is still my favourite album by them without a doubt. I think I still have a demo cd with a couple of rare songs on it such as this: They were a bit more pop punk meets post hardcore when I saw them live originally.
they're playing hangman... you heard it here first: the new single has a big dirty riff and its called "night people"
This band's popularity really surprises me. When I think of the British bands from the mid-2000s who burned out and broke up I never expected these guys to be headlining stadiums. But then again they can write some damn catchy singles when they put their minds to it.
Not really a fan of the song to be honest. I get what they are going for I kind of got a Twin Atlantic vibe going off.
I thought they'd settled into a nice little pocket of arena rock ... this just feels like they're chasing a trend.
Song is okay but it's not enough to make me even a little bit excited for an album that's 5 months away. I'll probably end up forgetting all about it by then.
The album art is pretty bad too 1. Night People 2. Plus One 3. Heavy Soul 4. Take on the World 5. Brand New 6. Swear 7. Make Your Move 8. Can’t Hold Back 9. Spell It Out 10. Give
