Really intense interview

 

From my experience, that's just sort of Ben's conversational tone.

I'm very happy YMAEWK is back and Ben has a solid plan for balance. That's been my goal in pretty much everything since I met him.

 

I mean that he speaks of waking up with blood everywhere after a concussion during a mental breakdown, haha

 

My point stands. haha

 

Kind of sad it doesn't sound like they'll be doing any bigger tours but being back any kind of way is good. It makes sense they can't just drop everything.

 

I understand the whole touring thing. I think Ben's way of thinking has changed and he's aware for the impacts of his mental health. I don't think right now he wants to possibly trigger that but I'll be glad to get any sort of new music and it's pretty great to see them try to bring YMAEWK to life again.

 

I'm a little confused by that part in the interview. He said a "broom fell in the bathroom" and he woke up to a concussion. So...what is the implication there? That the broom handle fell on his head and that gave him a concussion?

 

Ben passed out

 

I took it as the sudden noise triggered his ptsd, and passed out

 

Oh,...and he fell and hit the floor.

I understand now, thanks! I thought it was implying the broom handle hitting him did that...and I was a little confused. I didn't think about the loud noise possibly making him pass out.
