funny is definitely not one of the feelings i would consider in this situation

 

It's just frustrating watching you constantly shit on a guy who was struggling with substance abuse and has since made peace with it and rectified those demons. Pretty shitty

 

The band is teasing an announcement for tomorrow morning. I'm predicting a Chicago show with Sleep On It.

 

Pretty sure you're right, and I'm also thinking City Mouth are on it. lt might be a benefit show for Ashley Osborn, too.

I was super sad to see the announcement that Ben was calling it quits. I have always enjoyed his music under this moniker and echo everyone who hopes to see Ben continue making music in some fashion in the future.

Also, people with legitimate problems who seek help and forgiveness, and atone for their past mistakes, should be treated with compassion and empathy. All I'm going to say on that matter.

 

Definitely flying out for this one, YMAEWK and City Mouth on the same bill is unbelievably great. Was hoping for Sleep On It too since Jake booked the show but eh it'll be fun anyway.

 

Can someone post City Mouth and Sleep On It YouTube links? Never heard of either

 

Hopefully there's a status update on him/the group at that show. He has to be up to something

the frequency with which i intensely miss Ben’s songwriting consistently surprises me. i hope that dude is doing so well and we hear more from him one day. i feel like this EP in particular has been on rotation since release

 

Ben is fine. He runs a gym business now, which appears to be doing really well. He was toying with some new music ideas last we talked, but as far as I know, he hasn't recorded anything or have any solid plans to at the moment. As you can imagine, he's pretty busy.

I hope he finds the time soon. I miss his words as well.
