I saw Free Throw open for Title Fight last month and they were stellar as always. Honestly they're the band I'm most excited for on this already great lineup, haha.
TBH I'm getting a little worn out on them but it's only because I've seen them play the same set at the same venue 7 times within the last year and here we are again at the same venue most likely playing the same set haha They are always a good time though
Totally fair. I've seen that set three times and I can get that. I'm excited for their new record - the new songs they played really sound awesome.
A lot of stuff off Abendrot. I don't know all of the songs so I can't give you an exact set, but it seems like the bulk of the set came from abendrot and grow up dude, with less songs from the second album. They debuted a couple of new songs live and Tanner encored with The fifties because people kept requesting it, which was cool. They sounded really tight. Edit: by debut new songs I mean play some abendrot songs they haven't played yet, not new material Free throw played a couple of new songs. The only free throw songs I know are two beers and Pallet Town and they played both. All get out set was roughly the same as the headliner minus a few songs All Get Out (out of order) the season Room to talk Home Whatever Sans Balance Lucky bastard Get my cut ATX
I would love if they did The Fifties. As long as YBI plays Match & Tinder, Award Of The Year, Terry v Torri and Medal Of Honor I'm cool with all new songs I suppose. That AGO set is solid but I was really hoping to hear Orchestra. Free Throw I'm assuming is playing the same two new songs they have been for the past year
It made for a really cool moment because he had brushed off the requests for it earlier and after he played it to show how much he appreciated the crowd and everyone stuck around and sang along.
Went to this to see All Get Out, got there just before their set and left after. New songs sounded pretty heavy played live, despite a few of them not really translating the best. Drummer was kinda strange, he kinda looked like it might have been his first time playing drums or something haha. Pretty stiff-feeling fills and kinda seemed unable to tone it down a bit for the parts that needed it. Other than that, the band sounded great, Nathan was unbelievably on point, and the set list was solid. Only thing I'd change is more songs from The Season, which obviously would not happen considering they're supporting a different record haha, but they sounded amazing in comparison to the newer stuff. apparently their guitarist is stuck in a time loop where he turns nineteen every night, must be an exciting life anyway they were v good, was bummed about no chasing skirt but the new songs were excellent and I was a bit annoyed when their set ended (altho it ended in the best possible way) only for ybi! to come on and play a set of boring af pop punk also noticed that every single musician in every band on the bill is a white dude (leaving some room for me being a dick and misassuming), whereas only one of the three bands is good enough for this to be overlooked >:)
from what i saw last night and remember checking out in 2014, they are def not, but clearly enough people disagree with me to the point where they can headline a tour so w/e
I thought they were pretty good on the TWY/MCS tour a while back. I haven't listened in depth, though.
You Blew It is not as good as all get out but still sounded great imo. I have watched them a few times before (right after Grow Up Dude, supporting The Front Bottoms when KDWYD came out, and supporting TBS last fall) and outside of the TBS support slot they sounded tight and were entertaining every time.
That All Get Out set is wonderful. If they were headlining I probably would see this show. I have zero interest in seeing either of the other two artists again.
This was fun! Hot Mulligan were the local and they were awesome as asual. Free Throw was great too and had the biggest reaction far and away. Really excited for them to put out their record. I went in completely blind to All Get Out and I liked their set. I was googling lyrics in between songs and every song I looked up was from The Season, so my friend's going to pick it up for me in Cleveland tomorrow. You Blew It was good, though I didn't love the new stuff, unfortunately. Anything they played from the first two records though was great.
Went last night. We had Runaway Brother hop on last minute which was really awesome. Rest of the show was great. All Get Out was the clear standout for me, I haven't seen them in 5 years and they were so great. A ton of people left before You Blew It, which was pretty sad. They were really good even if the new songs are boring I feel like they played a good mix of old stuff to make it a not boring set.
