Yup, definitely out of the loop then. Didn't know about the EP. Last thing I heard from them was Keep Doing What You're Doing

 

You're missing out - the ep is super good

 

So ready for this, the new song sounds tight. Super bummed TBS is sold out, even though I'd just leave after YBI

Probably my favorite YBI! release. Don't even care it's three songs

 

Yea, the lp song didn't sound like the ep instrumentally but the vocal delivery was closer to the ep sound which has me excited

 

Easily, easily my favorite song I've heard by this band, and I've definitely put some time into those first two LPs. These guys have yet to click with me, but I get the feeling it's about to happen. Apparently there's an EP I need to hear.

 

Yeah, this track fucking rocks. I love how it starts so muted. That vocal effect totally works for me, and they drop it all at the perfect moment too. That huge guitar right before the chorus kicks ass.

Unrelated: super Andy Hull vibes on "when God dies, I'll skip the funeral." like, dead ringer

 

Like the new song, definitely agree re: the Andy Hull vibes.

 

"I swore that I'd be better this time, but I'm more circle than line" is a lyric that resonates far too much.

 

the new song is good but the vocal production is terrible

He's fine it's just the production I don't particularly like

 

Production on the whole song is different hope the whole record isn't like that, I loved the ep

 

Song is good but made me throw on Grow Up, Dude. I love this album so much.

 

Have a feeling these guys are really reinventing themselves. Singing is very different on old songs live and the new songs are awesome
