Dang I revisited Abendrot today, we lost a real one folx :(

 

I return to Abendrot very often when I don’t really know what to listen to and each time has me appreciating it more. Lyrics are fantastic too, which I wouldn’t really expect from this band. Super sad they’re gone :(

 

Cool they’re doing those shows, sucks they’re so far from me. Miss these guys.

Is this the best album to listen to if I want to get into this band? Or just start at the beginning?

 

I think I’m prolly in the minority here, and in all honesty I don’t even remember that much about it, but this is the only record by them that ever remotely resonated with me.

 

I’d say Keep Doing What You’re Doing

 

I'd also go with Keep Doing What You're Doing. Abendrot is good, but it's pretty different from their other material (at least from what I remember, it's been at least a couple years since I've listened)

 

Definitely the beginning. I love Keep Doing the most but Grow Up is also great. I don’t like Abendrot actually

 

Doesn’t this band have an abuser? Or was he a touring member? I’ve wanted to revisit them for a while, but then remembered the accusations.

 

Looks like he was a full time member. Thanks for the heads up! Will probably not be diving in to this band anymore upon hearing about this.

I don’t know his face but I believe this reunion phase has been “original lineup” which he was not part of

 

Looks like the original bassist is playing some shows and Evan Weiss is playing the rest.

 

Evan Weiss is not much better.
