With this show being sort of deceitful and having ridiculous levels of plot armor, is it bad that I still don't believe it? haha. Like... John had a body double/played dead, escaped or tricked the assassins, hired the crime scene investigators to fake his death, etc. I know it's so farfetched but I just really don't trust anything with this show anymore even when they are explicitly showing us that John's kids see him lol
I think it'll be a few months before its on Peacock; they would be smart to release it sooner, but I'm guessing February
To me I don't think Taylor Sheridan could have done much else; Costner literally wouldn't come to set anymore, so they couldn't film a single second of him anywhere. So he had to get creative, and so I can see why they did it the way they did. All the people online pissed or whatever probably had no idea of the drama between Sheridan and Costner, so this episode was a complete surprise, especially since they've been showing Costner in all the promo everywhere.
Damn this is why that Peacock deal with this show is dumb as hell. This would have been on Paramount+ immediately.
I was thinking the same thing. Just doesn’t seem like it could be this simple and obvious. This episode was a mess and not without some great moments, but really it felt like some of the scenes were patchy and poorly executed. still it does seem like an entertaining season is ahead at least
I think Paramount fucking hates that Peacock deal, hahaha. Would be a smash hit to debut this season on P+, but alas

This seems a little too staged… would be the biggest talking point out there TV wise if it was a ruse.
